Have you noticed the new, colorful art on the library’s entryway wall?
It was a cooperative project completed with the help of all the kids who chose to meet one of the summer’s Gold Medal Challenges. Kids glued 3/4″ toilet paper roll rings into 4 different simple shapes. We then spray painted them and combined them to make the colorful floral patterns you see in the photos.
Who knew toilet paper rolls had such potential?! Great job, Summer Reading Program kids!!
There is an easier puzzle for younger kids on the table behind the desk. Can we get them both completed by the end of this week?! Help!
