Landscape Clean-Up

The library board, director, and some of their family members spent Saturday, October 22nd cleaning up the library’s landscape.  Tight budgets have not allowed the library to hire professional landscaping help, so our hands-on, hardworking library board decided to roll up their sleeves and get it done!  The City Maintenance crew pruned the lilacs a few weeks earlier and very kindly hauled away all the debris after our massive clean-up.  We can’t wait to see how nice things will look next Spring!

Library Landscape Clean-Up Day

Saturday, Oct. 22nd  8am-noon

Come join the Library Board in sprucing up the library landscape!
You may have noticed that the Library landscaping could have used some attention this summer and fall.  Funds are tight and there hasn’t been any money to hire anyone for landscaping tasks.  We are confident that much can be accomplished if a good number of us gather at the library on the 22nd and put in a few hours of concentrated pruning, weeding, and cleaning up!
If you’d like to pitch in, please bring your own gloves and gardening tools (for raking, weeding, pruning, etc.) and join us!
Thank you in advance!
