Pumpkin Carving Workshop

Happy Halloween!   Thursday, Oct. 27th beginning at 6:00pm.

Join us for our annual pumpkin carving workshop on Thursday, October 27th beginning at 6pm.  Bring your own pumpkin and carving tools and we’ll provide a spectacular array of patterns from which you can choose.
This is a free, very informal workshop for carvers of all ages and levels of experience, but young children must be accompanied by an adult.  Because of time constraints, many have found that it works much better to scrape out their pumpkins before coming to the workshop so that they can get right to work carving.  Intricate carving takes a lot of time!
Bring your family, invite your friends, and enjoy making your pumpkin a piece of art!  Spooky treats will be served.

Pumpkin Carving Workshop

The Library’s annual Pumpkin Carving Workshop resulted in these wonderful works of art!

Adults and children are invited to attend this workshop at the library each October. Those who attend are encouraged to munch on skeleton-cakes, witches’ fingers, meringue bones and other scary treats while using the variety of tools, techniques, and exciting new patterns, geared to carvers of all abilities, that are added each year. Everyone walks out with a piece of pumpkin art that they’ll be proud to display at home!
