2013 Summer Reading Program

digintoreadingThere’s something for everyone, preschool through teens, in the public library’s summer reading program!  Activities, performers, programs, storytimes and great prizes, all to encourage youth to really dig into reading this summer.

Reading logs for all ages will be available at the library beginning June 11th.

Youth programs begin the week of June 17th:

Programs geared to elementary age students will take place on Tuesdays at 1:00pm.

Programs geared to early elementary/preschool age youth will take place on Fridays at 10:00am.

Completed reading logs earn kids the ever-popular Banana Bucks which can be used to buy prizes from the library’s prize store!

Teens (13-18 yrs.) are invited to fill out a reading log for each book they read between June 10th and August 3rd.  Each book they read increases their chances of winning a brand new Kindle HD, as well as other prizes in weekly drawings!
