The Friends of the Chatfield Public Library host Used Book Sales at the following times each year:
* First Saturday in May during Chatfield’s Spring City-Wide Garage Sale Day
* Second Weekend of August during Chatfield Western Days
* and sometimes during the second Saturday in September during Chatfield’s Fall City-Wide Garage Sale Day
As of October 2016, the Friends are in the process of moving their sale out of the Used Book Barn (shed behind the library and next to the Root River State Bank). Future sales will take place in the lower level meeting/program room at the Chatfield Public Library.
The Friends are selling all the book sale shelving for a free-will donation to the Friends of the Chatfield Public Library. Find more information here: http://rmn.craigslist.org/zip/5754956841.html
A smaller selection of used books and other materials is always on sale at the library. Look for these items on the bookcase to your immediate right as you enter the library proper. Please pay for your selections at the circulation desk.
Donations of used books, DVDs, and Books on CD that are clean and undamaged are welcomed and appreciated. Please bring to the library during open hours.
We will not accept encyclopedia sets, Reader’s Digest Condensed books, textbooks, National Geographic Magazines, cassettes, videos or anything that shows any evidence of mold.
Thank you for your support!
